Big Agnes, a growing American manufacturer of sleeping bags and other outdoor products, has announced the appointment of Katie Hughes as marketing specialist and Kaitlin Cowart as graphic design assistant. An expert in strategic marketing, Hughes worked most recently in marketing and sales at Point6 and Smartwool, respectively. .Named after a peak in the neighboring Mount Zirkel Wilderness, Big Agnes is based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It recently expanded its product line from sleeping bags to insulated apparel, pads and tents. It also became the exclusive distributor of Helinox trekking poles and camping furniture in the Americas. Big Agnes was recently listed by Outside Magazine among the “Best Place to Work” in the U.S.
