Big Agnes, the U.S. brand of tents, sleeping bags and other outdoor equipment, has announced various management appointments to meet the demands of its recent fast growth. The new position of the chief financial officer has been filled by Greg Fritz. Linda Curzon is the first customer service manager in the history of the Colorado-based company, which is named after a nearby mountain. Curzon held a similar role with Smartwool, whose headquarters used to be located, like Big Agnes', in Steamboat Springs. Also from Smartwool comes Adam Eimers who is now in charge of BA's inventory analysis. Sally Gentling, a former designer at Patagonia, has joined the team as product developer, while Noah Freed has been appointed sales coordinator. Chris Tamucci, who was already with the company, has been promoted to director of operations in charge of IT, warehousing and customer service.
