Canada Goose has appointed Woody Blackford to oversee global design and merchandising, with a focus on category expansion and innovation, as the company is considering opportunities in new product categories, including footwear. Blackford will join Canada Goose this autumn as executive vice-president of design and merchandising. He has more than 25 years of experience in apparel, footwear and accessories. Most recently, he served as vice-president of global design and innovation at Columbia Sportswear.
