Chris Licata will take the place of Peter Weaver as chief executive of Tecnica USA when the latter retires on Sept. 6. Licata returned to the winter sports business in 2010, working under Weaver in the Tecnica/Blizzard division, after acting as president and CEO of Blake's All Natural Foods since 2006. Before that, he spent 12 years at Salomon North America, rising to the rank of vice president of sales, and acted as president of Skis Dynastar/Lange USA.
