Christina Völlinger has been appointed as head of marketing at Deuter, after about ten years at the Adidas Group. She spent nearly five years as senior global communication manager in the group's outdoor division, and briefly worked as brand communication strategy consultant for Adidas Terrex. Völlinger joined the German backpack specialist in April, taking over from Rainer Wenninger. He had held the position for eleven years and has left the company. Völlinger is to develop marketing strategies for Deuter and reinforce the brand's appeal across the international market.
