Chuck Roth, who has been the designer of Oboz Footwear since its launch in 2008, is now employed by the company. He is already a shareholder of Oboz, which he founded together with the company's current president and vice president, John Connelly and Josh Fairchilds, who had been working for other brands before. Roth has been in the footwear sector since 1993, when he joined Nike. He then established his independent design consultancy in 2001. Since then, he has served 30 clients in the outdoor, cycling, fishing, running, and hunting markets.
