Compass Diversified Holdings, parent company of Camelbak, Fox, Liberty Safe and other firms, has promoted Ryan J. Faulkingham from director of financial reporting to chief financial officer, starting next Nov. 30. He will take the place of James J. Bottiglieri, who is due to retire on the same date after serving as CODI's CFO since its establishment in 2005. Bottiglieri will remain a member of the board of directors. The 36-year-old Faulkingham worked for Merrill Lynch before joining CODI in 2008. He began his 15-year career in finance and auditing at Arthur Andersen and KPMG.
