David Parker has been made chief financial and operating officer at Pacific Market International (PMI), the manufacturer of food and beverage containers. Parker will be in charge of the company's finances, supply chain, IT, legal department and business transformation. He will report to Bob Keller, PMI's chief executive. Parker has just ended a five-year stint as the chief financial and operating officer at The Honest Company, a consumer products brand co-founded by Jessica Alba. He helped steer that company from its launch to some $300 million in revenues and raised $250 million in equity financing. Before that, he spent five years as chief financial officer of Lightspeed GMI, overseeing its turnaround and sale to WPP Group in 2011. He has also worked for Getty Images, General Electric, Primus Knowledge Solutions, Sierra Online and Coopers & Lybrand. PMI was founded in 1983 by Rob Harris and is headquartered in Seattle. Two of its three brands, Stanley and Aladdin, are more than a century old and sold worldwide. The other brand, Migo, was founded in 1999 and is expanding in the Asia-Pacific region.
