Effective this month, Siegfried Winkelbeiner will assume the role of chief executive at Schoeller Textil, the maker of high-end fabrics. He replaces Hans-Jürgen Hübner, who has served the company for 48 years. Hübner joined the Swiss company in 1964, first in charge of the technical area, then in 1982 as head of sales and marketing, and since 1994 as chairman of the executive board. He has been nominated to take over the helm of the administrative board during the shareholders' assembly on June 28. Winkelbeiner, most recently chief operating officer of the company, worked for Ciba, another Swiss chemicals enterprise, which was acquired by BASF in 2009.
