Erwin van Dop, formerly in charge of Salomon and then Columbia in the Netherlands, has switched to Hi-Tec to become managing director for the Dutch footwear brand in the Benelux countries, along with Germany and Austria. He takes over from Peter Korver, who left earlier this year to become managing director at Nomad, the Dutch outdoor apparel and equipment brand. Separately, Hi-Tec is preparing to relocate its French office, perhaps to Chamonix. The office is currently located nearby in Sallanches and has been run since last year by Paul Brooks, supervising the brand's own operations in France and Spain, as well as distributors in Italy and Switzerland.
