Fjällräven has appointed Joe Prebich as its new director of marketing in North America. The Swedish outdoor brand entered the North American market four years ago and has a growing consumer base in the U.S. and Canada. Prebich will report to Nathan Dopp, vice president of marketing and sales for Fjällräven North America. In his new role, he will help develop and manage all marketing initiatives. In addition, he will oversee the existing relationships with all agency partners. He will be based at the headquarters of Fenix Outdoor North America in Boulder, Colorado. Prebich is a veteran of the outdoor and retail landscape. In his most recent role, he served as director of marketing for Zeal Optics, where he helped reinforce the brand's position in the goggle and sunglass marketplace. Previously, he worked as global sports marketing manager for Oakley, interactive marketing manager at Red Bull North America, sports marketing brand manager for Red Bull Global Sports, and as an associate editor for Snowboarder Magazine.
