Jack Wolfskin will boost its executive board with the appointment from next Feb. 1 of Elke Stein to the newly created position of joint managing director in charge of marketing and product development. The 45-year-old spent 16 years at Adidas, first as key account manager and marketing director for Central Europe. She then switched to Reebok, where she has held various positions including vice president for merchandising at Reebok Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), vice president for global wholesale and most recently general manager for the German-speaking countries. At Jack Wolfskin, she joins the team of Michael Rupp, chief executive, who also switched from Adidas in July; Andreas Klotz, chief financial officer; Christian Brandt, chief operating officer; and Markus Bötsch, chief sales officer.
