Jeff Bowman is taking the place of Brad Poorman as the new chief executive of Cocona, the U.S.-based developer of active particle technologies used in technical apparel, footwear and other products. Bowman was most recently chief operating officer and technical officer at Massif in Ashland, Oregon. Like Poorman and other members of Cocona's international team, Bowman collected experience at W.L. Gore. He also worked at Cascade Designs and Malden Mills. A statement from the company indicates that Poorman is going to pursue other opportunities, but he will continue to sell Cocona products and assist Bowman in the transition.
