Jimmy Reynolds was appointed international director for the Regatta and Dare2B brands earlier this year, following the departure of Laurent Houlier. Reynolds previously spent nearly six years with the Pentland group, as multi-channel business director for Speedo International and then interim group digital director for Pentland Brands. He has dealt with key accounts such as Tmall and JD.com in China, as well as Amazon, Zalando and Decathlon. Previous employers include Henleys Clothing as well as Fatface, Animal and the Blacks Leisure Group. A familiar contact for many in the European Outdoor Group, Houlier has been instrumental in the international expansion of the Regatta group in the last years, with the opening of subsidiaries in countries ranging from Spain and Italy to the Czech Republic and Russia. He started in the sports business at Noël, a French footwear company, and joined the Regatta group as international sales manager for the Craghoppers brand in 2002. He then switched to the Regatta brand as European sales manager, became international sales director in 2011 and international business director three years later, supervising ten subsidiaries and sales agents and distributors in 65 countries – excluding the German-speaking countries, the U.S. and Ireland. In the interval, Regatta moved ahead with the development of concessions as well as franchise and own stores, as well as partnerships with international digital accounts, such as Amazon and T-Mall.
