Johnson Outdoors has appointed Christopher Martens to a new position as business director for its camping unit, responsible for brand management, product management, marketing, R&D, quality control and customer service for Johnsons' Eureka!, Silva, and Jetboil brands. Besides acting as chief executive of Respect Your Universe, Martens served in numerous roles at Nike, where he worked as business director of apparel for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and merchandise manager for Nike ACG and Nike outerwear. Prior to Nike, Martens worked for Eastern Mountain Sports for 11 years.
