Kelly Kraus joins Cascade's board of directors

Cascade Designs, the American outdoor company, has appointed Kelly Kraus to its board of directors, where she will be providing leadership on and insight into marketing, product and sales. She is also joining a hiring committee for key leadership roles. Kraus began at Cascade as a sales representative before becoming sales manager for the MSR brand and then taking various sales positions on the Cascade Designs side, including brand manager for Platypus, regional sales manager and eventually director of sales. Among her previous roles are director of sales and marketing for Werner Paddles and director of brand management for REI’s private brands. In addition, she has served on the boards of various outdoor industry and non-profit organizations, such as Camber Outdoors, Big City Mountaineers and the Outdoor Industry Association. Cascade Designs’ portfolio of brands includes Therm-a-Rest, Mountain Safety Research (MSR), Platypus, SealLine and PackTowl.
