Manuele Barbon has been appointed as the new export manager of MGM, the Italian parent company of Kayland and Trezeta, which is also the licensee for Fila inline skates. While focusing on some key foreign markets, he will also serve as general sales manager of the company's footwear division, helping to improve planning of product development and distribution over the long term. Barbon spent the last ten years in the outdoor sector, working for Lafuma's Italian sales subsidiary and then serving as European sales manager for Garmont International's tactical footwear line. His responsibilities at MGM had been assumed briefly at the beginning of 2016 by a new sales manager with international experience, Robert Demetz, but he left shortly afterwards.
