Romain Millet will take over from Frédéric Ducruet as the new managing director of Millet Mountain Group. Ducruet had been at the helm for the past seven years, and have worked for Millet for 19 years. According to reports in sport-guide.fr, Millet will be appointed to the new role on December 1. Romain Millet, who is 40 years old, is the grandson of René Millet, the founder of the eponymous brand. Romain previously worked for the Millet group, between 2005 and 2013, with roles at a variety of its brands, including in the export department (Lafuma), marketing (Oxbow) and general management (Le Chameau). He has also previously worked in financial advising and consulting, with roles at Lazard Frères and Lek Consulting. In 2019, he was appointed to the head of Tag Heuer, owned by LVMH, for North Asia. The Millet Mountain Group belongs to the Calida Group.
