Moritz Kuhn started at the beginning of October as country manager for Haglöfs in Germany and Austria, after several years at the Adidas Group and most recently as a team leader at Zalando. Kuhn replaces Herbert Horelt, who has been with the Swedish outdoor company since 2003 and left last month. At the same time, Haglöfs appointed Erik Birndt as senior sales and key account manager. Birndt was previously sales manager at Fossil, the watch and jewelry company, where he spent several years. Haglöfs says the appointments are aligned with the strategic focus it adopted along with its new brand platform, as reported earlier this year. Germany is one of the largest markets for Haglöfs.
