Morten Mosland has been appointed as marketing and business development manager at Viking Footwear, after a few months working with the Norwegian footwear brand on a consultancy basis. Mosland previously spent nearly ten years with the Carlsberg Group. He is replacing Karl Henrik Felde, who left to become international marketing manager for Bergans Fritid. As previously reported, Viking Outdoor Footwear has undergone more changes in the last year, after Leif Holst-Liæker left the company to head up Bergans and Trond Langeland was hired to take over as chief executive. Viking Outdoor Footwear was created to regroup the Viking footwear brand, along with a license for the Kangaroos brand in the Nordics and a joint venture with Berghaus to sell the British outdoor brand in the Nordics. It further comprises two children's brands of outdoor footwear and insulated PU boots, Footi and Cherrox.
