Nemo Equipment, the U.S. supplier specializing in tents and other outdoor equipment, has hired three people to expand its small team. Previously at General Electric, in global research as a materials scientist, Patrick McCluskey has been appointed product manager at Nemo. His Ph. D. from Harvard in Engineering Sciences sits well with Nemo's approach to product development, involving science and technology. Theresa Conn has been hired as a logistics coordinator, to take care of transportation of products from partner factories to international distribution centers and customers. She completed an undergraduate degree in Environmental Conservation and Sustainability and an MBA, both from the University of New Hampshire. Kendall Wallace has been added to the team as customer and warranty service representative. Nemo started working the European market about four years ago and it opened a third-party warehouse in the Netherlands last year, which made it easier to build up relationships with distributors and retailers, particularly in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.
