Nester Hosiery has promoted Kelly Nester to the position of chief executive officer, with immediate effect. Kelly Nester joined the company in 1996 and has been president since 2008. Marty Nester, the company founder and current chief executive, will continue to chair the company's board of directors. Nester Hosiery, based in Mount Airy, North Carolina, produces socks for outdoor, performance, and lifestyle brands. In 2013 the company launched Farm to Feet, its own brand, a product line which claims a fully American and transparent supply chain.
