Peak Performance has hired Susanne Blanke for the position of DTC director, with responsibility for accelerating and expanding the brand’s growth in its own distribution channels, including the brand stores, brand outlets and brand online store. Blanke started in the position in August and came from H&M. Before that, she worked for Ebay and the Boston Consulting Group.

Peak Performance has also recruited Maria Olsson for the position of vice president creative. She will be responsible for all creative aspects of the company’s designs, brand and marketing. Olsson assume the position in November and most recently gave up the role of design director for Rapha Racing, but also has a long history of designing ski and outdoor products for Craft, 8848 Altitude and North Bend. According to Peak Performance, the recruitment of Olsson and the new position is the result of an organizational change the company made a few years ago with the aim of creating better synergies between the marketing and design departments.

With the two new additions, Peak Performance now has – for the first time in the company’s history – more women than men in its management team under chief executive Sara Molnar.
