Oboz Footwear, the American outdoor footwear company recently acquired by Kathmandu, has appointed Rich Hohne as its new director of marketing. Hohne is joining from Simms Fishing Products, where he spent 10 years in the marketing department. Speaking on his appointment, Oboz's president, Amy Beck, praised Hohne's understanding of technical brands. Hohne was upbeat about his new challenge, contrasting Oboz's current state to where Simms was many years ago. He aims to make Oboz a leader in the footwear market.
