Osprey Packs has invested in its marketing department with two appointments: Rob BonDurant has become director of marketing at the U.S. backpack company, while Kurt Metternick has taken up the new position of web manager. BonDurant joins from Harman International, where he was director of global marketing, and he previously spent 12 years at Patagonia, where he became vice-president global marketing after several other sales and marketing jobs. He takes over from Gareth Martins, who switched to the Outdoor Industry Association as its marketing communications manager. Metternick, who will report to BonDurant, was previously online sales manager at Prana, the brand acquired by Columbia Sportswear.
