Paul Leonard, former sourcing and product development manager at Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS), the U.S. outdoor retailer, has been hired by Johnson Outdoors Gear as product manager for its Eureka camping brand. Leonard, who spent more than ten years at EMS, is to drive the Eureka brand's entire product development. He previously led the design and development team for EMS' tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, travel gear and accessories, while taking care of sourcing and directing product marketing and sales efforts. Johnson owns several other outdoor-related brands, such as Old Town canoes and kayaks, Scubapro diving products, Silva compasses and Jetboil cooking equipment.
