Peter Metcalf, the founder and chief executive of the Black Diamond group, has been appointed chairman of the board of directors for the Salt Lake City branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco for 2016. Two years ago he became a board member for the same branch in Utah, where Black Diamond is established. Metcalf is succeeding Bradley Wiskirchen from Kenetics in Boise, Idaho. While leading Black Diamond, Metcalf is active in community affairs, with current or past seats on corporate and advisory boards at the Outdoor Industry Association, the Conservation Alliance, the Utah Nature Conservancy and the Utah Development Corporation, among others.
