Peter Ruppe, who recently left as Under Armour's senior vice president of footwear, is joining Columbia Sportswear to help double sales of Columbia branded shoes within three years, according to the Oregonian. Mark Nenow will continue to be in charge of Sorel, another brand of the group. Ruppe joined UA at the beginning of 2015 after almost 25 years with Nike. He left UA last July as part of a major executive reshuffle.
