Piotr Swiech, former key account manager for Nike in Poland, has taken the helm of The North Face in the country. He joined the company at the beginning of June. The brand's Polish business was previously headed by Michal Sojka, who left at the end of December and was recently appointed as head of the wholesale business at Triumph International. Another change occurred a little earlier in Russia, where Alexey Bezugly was placed in charge of The North Face in March, replacing Timothy Tararin. Bezugly was previously the business development manager for Russia at Columbia Sportswear. Development plans for the brand and many others will be analyzed in our upcoming report on the Russian outdoor market.
