Poc Sweden, the helmet specialist acquired by Black Diamond last year, is investing more in its eyewear line, which was first presented at the Mido eyewear show in Milan last year. It has hired a new global marketing director for its eyewear business unit, Jonas Söderqvist, replacing Sarah Laurell in this function. The 40-year-old former ski champion worked previously for Stadium, the big Swedish sporting goods retail chain, and for Peak Performance. Poc is aiming for 24 percent growth in sales this year to more than €20 million.
