Polygiene has appointed Haymo Strubel, who previously worked for YKK and Sympatex Technologies, as director of commercial operations for Europe. The company has also appointed a new technical director for textile applications, Paul Middleton, who comes from Courtaulds. Polygiene has announced a collaboration with 2XU for use of its odor-control technology in its compression garments. Polygiene has reported sales of 61.5 million Swedish kronor (€6.4m-$6.8m) for 2016, up from SEK 51.5 million in the previous year, but the company booked a net loss of SEK 3.2 million (€0.3m-$0.4m) for the year against a profit of SEK 9.2 million the year before.
