After steady growth in recent years, German Ruff Cycles founder and CEO, Petar “Pero“ Desnica, has promoted his old school friend and head of marketing, Tuong “Mark“ Ngauv, to the management board. Both will now steer the manufacture, which has attracted attention with eye-catching choppers and cruisers (including electrified ones), as a managing director duo.

Desnica founded the bike manufactory in Regensburg in southern Germany in 2012 and under his leadership, Ruff Cycles expanded its team from five to 60 employees. Annual growth was in the triple digits (the company does not disclose more precise numbers). In the future, the company founder – in addition to being responsible for frame building, production and finances – will increasingly take care of product development and long-term strategies.

Desnica’s classmate Ngauv joined Ruff Cycles after several years in senior positions in the e-commerce and furniture industries in Shanghai. In addition to his sales, marketing and PR responsibilities, he will now work with Desnica to develop long-term strategies for the company.
