Salewa North America has announced two new appointments. Steve Kropf will act as director of sales for the company's various brands: Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca and Wild Country, and Dan Fiore will serve as product line manager for apparel. They will report to Chris Sword, president of Salewa North America. Kropf worked as a sales rep for Black Diamond Equipment and as head of sales for Life-Link, the first North American distributor of Dynafit, before taking new initiatives. He co-founded and led Indigo Equipement, an innovative brand of backpacks, and ran Pele Sports USA before starting his own consultancy. Fiore previously served as sales and merchandising manager at Salewa North America, developing a North American collection for Dynafit together with the Italian team since 2013.
