The North Face has announced the appointment of Kelly Cortina as vice president of global product and Darren Cookson as global vice president of merchandising, effective immediately. Cortina joins TNF from Under Armour, where she spent 13 years in various roles including product creation, direct-to-consumer operations and global merchandising. Cookson spent the past three years at TNF as vice president of product and merchandising for the EMEA region. He had previously worked for seven years at Timberland in a variety of roles including director of apparel and retail buying; merchandising and merchandise director for men's footwear; and European retail head of buying.
