Timbuk2 has announced four leadership appointments, effective from June 1, namely Jen Larkin as design director, Nelson Garcia as art director, Azul Couzens as head of marketing and Ami Takahashi as head of international sales. Larkin will play a key role in designing the Autumn 2017 and Winter 2018 collections for the San Francisco-based messenger bag maker. Garcia was associate art director at the Gap for 16 years and will tackle everything from concept to design to visual campaigns. Prior to this, Couzens was director of marketing at BRG Sports and brand manager of Bell Sports' bicycle division. Takahashi joins Timbuk2 from Nike Japan, where he was in charge of Nike Women's and Women's Training.
