To meet the requirements of the brand's strong growth in the bicycle sector, Vaude is about to rearrange its bike division. Martin Reiniger assumed the role of country sales manager export for the international markets effective Feb. 1. The former manager of bike-related brands such as Acros and Wheeler will work closely with Gernot Moser, the overall sales director of Vaude's two-wheel division, and with Jochen Geiger, his counterpart for the German market. A new product manager for the same segment is Brigitte Landauer, who was most recently a co-founder and director of a textile enterprise in Bolivia. David Nagel, formerly with The North Face and Scott, is now in charge of the development of the brand's line of bike backpacks. Bozena Volmer, who has been with Vaude for a while, has been promoted to manager for trade marketing of the bicycle unit , responsible for events for retailers, shows and exhibitions, and point of sale support. Meanwhile, Ramona Rosenhagen has taken on the position of Packs 'n Bags, the group's line of fashionable backpacks and bags, from Melanie Bleicher, who has been in charge of that unit for 12 years. Bleicher is now responsible for the product management of all of Vaude's backpacks.
