Tor Jenssen has been appointed as chief marketing officer at Helly Hansen following the departure of Erik Burbank, who held the job for less than two years but previously covered much the same functions as Helly Hansen's senior vice president of brand and marketing. Jenssen has been with the Norwegian ski, outdoor and sailing apparel brand for the last ten years, most of them in category management. Burbank has left to move to Keen Footwear, where he became general manager of the American company's outdoor, lifestyle and kids (OLK) categories earlier this week. Burbank is managing global operations, strategy, product and business development for Keen OLK from the group's head office in Portland. He previously worked at Nike and Timberland.
