VF Corp. announced the appointment of Michel Bilodeau as vice president and general manager in charge of Vans in the EMEA region, starting in October. He will replace Stefano Saccone, who had taken on the responsibility in April but is instead going to run Woolrich International (see the following article). Bilodeau joined VF in May 2009 as general manager for Vans in Canada. He was then promoted to general manager of the whole Outdoor & Action Sports division of VF in Canada, responsible also for The North Face, Timberland, Smartwool and Jansport. After working for the Sports Experts Group in Québec, Bilodeau served as a partner of Sports Odyssee, which was the distributor of Vans in Canada until 2010.
