Wigwam Mills has a new chief executive, Thomas Wheeler. He takes the position from Robert Chesebro, who remains Chairman. Wheeler is the second outsider to have joined the top management of the American socks manufacturer, which is owned by Chesebro's family. Wheeler will also act as president of Wigwam. He spent the last four years as chairman of Martex Fiber, a global recycler of pre-consumer and post-consumer fibers. He previously worked for 20 years at Hartmax Corp. and running Wormser Apparel. Prior to that, he served as a director of Impact Sports and other companies.
