Wolverine Worldwide has a new chief financial officer. Michael D. Stornant, a 49-year-old executive who has been with the group for 19 years, assumes the role of senior vice president, CFO and treasurer, with effect from June 12. He served most recently as vice president of corporate finance, after handling other operational and financial roles including those of general manager for the Bates brand and senior vice president of finance and administration for the Global Operation Group. Stornant will take the place of Donald T. (Don) Grimes, who has resigned after seven years in the post. Grimes is going to join the Neiman Marcus Group as executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
