Yuba Bicycles, headquartered in Cotati, California, has named Pat Cunnane as president of North American operations and chief operating officer of the company’s global business. Both positions are new for the company. Cunnane has been working in the bicycle industry for decades in executive positions. He has served for nearly 18 years, from 2001 to 2019, as chief executive of Advanced Sports, the parent company of bicycle brands Fuji, SE, Breezer and Kestrel. Most recently, he was an industry consultant for several international businesses. In 2010, he was recognized by Bicycle Retailer and Industry News as “Executive of the Year.” He has also been on the board of directors of PeopleForBikes for 17 years and currently serves as treasurer. Cunnane will be based in Philadelphia.
