For the first time, the Amundsen Sports brand showed at Ispo. Its inventor, Jørgen Amundsen, is a relative of Norway’s Roald Amundsen, the first person to have ever set foot on the South Pole. He also holds a couple more records. The younger Amundsen is offering a small collection using some prime textiles available in the market, including the full range of Schoeller’s fabrics such as “3xDry”, “C_Change” and “Coldblack.” Additionally, Amundsen comes with “Merbyx Mori,” a fabric that comprises the high-end mixture of 35 percent cashmere, 32.5 percent Merino and 32.5 percent silk.
