GE Energy has launched a new seam tape whose temperature application range allows the manufacturers to improve process flexibility without sacrificing the seam-sealing quality or durability of GE’s eVent membrane. At Ispo, GE presented a new generation of its eVent membrane, promising to be more sustainable and to reduce carbon emissions. According to GE, the new treatment application process uses supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) as a vehicle for the treatment to the ePTFE nodes and fibrals to protect the film from oil contamination.
