Hydrapak has announced its acquisition of Polar Bottle. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Polar Bottle, created in 1994 by Robert Heiberger and Judy Amabile, offered the first reusable water bottle addressing the problem of heat loss during long rides. Polar Bottle will continue to operate on a stand-alone basis out of its headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.
