Hyperlite Mountain Gear (HMG) has secured new financing to boost development and marketing of lightweight outdoor products such as backpacks, shelters and tent stakes. The new financing came from the Maine Venture Fund, which invests in Maine-based firms, the Telluride Venture Fund and other private investors. Run by Mike and Dan St. Pierre, HMG sells its products in the U.S. and several European and Asian countries.
