Jack Wolfskin has decided to extend the use of Microsoft Dynamics AX software from enterprise resource planning (ERP) to retailing, merchandising and customs clearance. The solution replaces a smaller Microsoft system, Navision. Microsoft has already developed a “virtualized warehouse project” for Jack Wolfskin to accelerate shipments and provide continuous availability of merchandise across its international infrastructure.
