JD Sports has acquired Ultimate Outdoors, a retail with three stores in the north of England and Wales under its own name and another under the Planet Fear banner in Keswick. In addition to JD and other properties in the sports and fashion sectors, the British retailer controlled by Pentland Group already owns Blacks, Tiso, George Fisher and Activinstinct in the outdoor sector.
