Lacrosse Footwear is going to buy the footwear business of END, a company whose name stands for Environmentally Neutral Design Outdoor. Lacrosse formed a new subsidiary that has signed a deal to acquire END’s inventory, intellectual property and other assets of its footwear business. The estimated cost is $500,000 and the deal is set to be complete by the end of the month. Lacrosse plans to continue selling under the END brand name and continue operations at that company’s headquarters in Oregon. END’s chief executive, Andrew Estey, and key employees will move to the new subsidiary.
