As announced in June, Frank Hugelmeyer has taken his seat as president of the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA). Hugelmeyer was president and chief executive of the Outdoor Industry Association (OIA), the U.S. organization, for 14 years until 2014. He succeeds Richard Coon, who retired after serving as president of the RVIA for the last ten years. Hugelmeyer left the OIA in October and was succeeded by Amy Roberts. Formerly at Moutain Equipment Co-op, she was appointed executive director in July, after an interim period during which the OIA leadership was entrusted to Steve Barker, the founder of Eagle Creek.
