Garmont has announced a new partnership with France's Ensa (Ecole Nationale de Ski et d'Alpinisme). As part of this collaboration, Ensa guides will field-test Garmont products and provide feedback to enable improvements and future product developments. Among the boots that the Ensa mountain professionals will be using are the Dragontail, which celebrates its 15th anniversary on the market, and the Pumori LX, a boot designed for technical ice climbers. Ensa was founded in 1943, and is based in Chamonix, France. The institution was originally created to train mountain professionals and develop teaching methods for skiing and mountaineering activities. Today, Ensa is considered as a benchmark in the field of mountain sports, and its expanded mission also covers the integration of European directives and the internationalization of mountain tourism.
